About Siobhan
Siobhan’s career in communications spans Government, where she was privileged to work at No10 Downing Street and other Government departments, and the creative industries from magazine and book publishing to Walt Disney. She was CEO of Radiocentre until 2021, the industry body for commercial radio, during a time of immense digital transformation and stepped in as Interim CEO of Energy UK, the trade body for most of the energy industry, at a time of great crisis both in UK politics and in the sector.
Since leaving Energy UK in 2023, she has focused on coaching, gaining her Post-Graduate qualification in June 2025. She most enjoys working alongside CEOs and senior leaders and has specialised in supporting trade bodies leaders with the plethora of issues they face. She is also a mentor/coach on the Government’s Create Growth programme (since 2023), supporting small creative businesses outside London to achieve their potential.
Always a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, she has been working alongside social enterprise company Creative Access for many years. Her proudest achievements are having been part of the team which convinced then Prime Minister Tony Blair to bid for the London Olympics, to have delivered deregulation to the radio industry while paving the way for a more diverse future for the industry and to have steered the energy industry steadily through a crisis in 2022/23.
She studied languages at Manchester and London, driven by a keen curiosity in other people and cultures. Her strong empathy and communications skills have led to working in different sectors but her approach is always the same. She loves a challenge, works hard to understand others, adores good design, treasures the written word, and hugely values being part of a high-performing team.
Siobhan is an Arsenal fan, a keen skier and sailor and most of all loves a good book. Her broader activities include being part of the Speakers for Schools programme and advocating for women’s reproductive choices as a Trustee of BPAS. She brings all her experience to support families during difficult times in her capacity as a non-religious celebrant.
She was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year’s Honours List for services to commercial radio and young people.
