Consultant

I am expert in driving delivery through creative collaboration, leading and inspiring partnerships focused keenly on outcomes in commercial, the creative and government sectors.  My key strengths include: combining public and private sector experience as a marketing and commercial leader to rapidly reposition businesses for cultural growth and financial transparency; building collaborative stakeholder relationships, up to Board level, with diplomacy, subtlety, determination and resilience to win buy-in to a change agenda; leading strategic planning and transforming communications in disparate cultures, ensuring consistency of voice to achieve success; guiding innovation to construct and compellingly communicate and organisation’s vision and values.

In April 2022, I stepped in to an Interim leadership position at the trade body for the energy sector, Energy UK, just as the sector and our politics were plunged into crisis.  Quickly getting up to speed with this complex area, was accelerated by necessity.  Leading the team negotiating with Government to ensure bills remained affordable for customers while not losing sight of the clean energy goal was fascinating.  I learnt a huge amount and really enjoyed this interim role.  This one quote from the team is all I could hope for:

‘You gave the whole team a huge lift, you are so much fun but also incredibly cool and calm in a crisis, an amazing diplomat with an awesome political radar.  You radiate real wisdom and leadership.’

When I stepped down as CEO of Radiocentre in July 2021, here is a selection of quotes from industry leaders:

‘Radiocentre has been transformed and commercial radio completely repositioned in these seven years’

‘A great CEO, leader, colleague and collaborator.  Honest, disarming, determined and delightful.’

‘Siobhan always showed courage, drive, passion, resilience and humility – an ace CEO and an exemplary leader.’

‘A very, very special leader – there have been inevitable challenges which have been resolved calmly and professionally.’
